A friend of mine swears that a Suburban sized SUV is the only modern vehicle able to haul a sheet of plywood. The Nissan Xterra was a plus sized compact SUV that was sold from 1999 through 2015 in the US market. The Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk "Stealth Fighter" was operational as early as 1983 (with maiden demonstrator flights in 1977) but its existence wasn't announced to the public until 1988. I'm a big fan of Nissan's 350Z offering (launch in 2002) because it reversed some of the mass and complexity of 300ZX and returned the car to its original roots -- handling and affordability.
