I hate to say it...but the Z33 generation Nissan 350Z hasn't aged well at all.  The interior surface coatings are about as durable as the coating on an M&M and the interior design (eg gauge color) has aged about as well as Miley Cyrus. Sure...there are some people who might find it attractive, but even Liam Hemsworth ditched his wrecked one for a new model.  However, they do offer a decent level of performance and can be had with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a rag top. A Nissan Z In Disguise: 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe

Modern (post 2000 model year) cars are fast, complicated, and comfortable.  Some are still too expensive, but others have depreciated into serious DT territory because of the immutable laws of supply (the OEM sold a ton when new) and demand (the newer versions are cooler/better/nicer smelling)...which have oddly favored the Infiniti version of the Nissan 350Z, which was known as the G35 coupe, at least until Infiniti renamed their entire lineup to be Q70, Q42, QGeewhiz Batman, I can't decipher this bloody nomenclature.  Anyway, this next car comes from the time when you could tell what kind of Infiniti you were getting. I'm a big fan of Nissan's 350Z offering (launch in 2002) because it reversed some of the mass and complexity of 300ZX and returned the car to its original roots -- handling and affordability.  But...I've got to admit that I've always been a tad disappointed that Nissan never released a lifted Dakar Rally ready version of the Z, because that would have been awesome. In 2003, Nissan resurrected the Z nameplate with the same basic ingredients as its fore-bearers: Two seats, six cylinders, four wheels - or five if you count the steering wheel. Speaking of which, the Jack-o'-lantern-hued gauge cluster tilts up and down with the steering wheel. Neat. It was a potent sports car that shone in its own segment of $30k, rear-drive, two-seat, six-cylinder cars, but rated unfavorably to its motley crew of competitors: Mustang, Corvette, 911, Boxster, WRX. The Nissan Z was introduced in 1969 as a lightweight, simple sports car (the 240Z)- not a rocket in a straight line, but excellent in the curves.  Unfortunately the Z car aged like Elvis - by the 1996 300ZX, it was fat, bloated, sporting tremendous sideburns and giant gold sunglasses - a far cry from the slim crooner it started out as and rightfully discontinued.  Six years later a revival of the original spirit of the Z came to reality with the 350Z.  This 2003 350Z is available in Lake Elsinore, CA and offered for $8500 via craigslist.
