Make or Buy: 1972 Dodge Dart Project vs 1968 Dodge Dart Turnkey

There is an old saying in the business world; there are two ways to develop a new product--make it, or buy it...but that rule also applies to classic cars. This choice is often financially motivated, but as often it is personality based. Therefore we are happy to present these two cars and ask which you would buy; intro and words from tipper Erik202. I didn't grow up loving mopars or anything and I'm not sure I want to fully immerse myself in the "Dodge Guy" culture but I think having one of these Darts would be cool, just not sure which one, the project ($3580 USD) or the "turn key" version ($11,400 USD). Find this 1968 Dodge Dart offered for $16,000 CAD ($11,400 USD) located in Sherwood Park, AB, Canada via kijiji.net.Tuesday, September 26, 2017

It just so happens that two discount specials from appliance city just fell into our tips inbox...time for a comparison! If you had 3 large burning a hole in your pocket, would you pick the 1988 Camry or the 1983 Accord?Tuesday, June 3, 2014
2k: What Were They Thinking: 1977 Datsun 810 vs 1977 Plymouth Volare

1977 was an interesting year on many fronts. It celebrated the first time a man made vaccine eradicated a virus (small pox), the incorporation of Apple Computers, the release of Lucas's blockbuster Star Wars movie and the death of noted comedian Groucho Marx. It was also the year of some of the worst possible cars ever pushed from a factory due to oil embargoes, tightening emissions standards and quickly implemented fixes from the boys in Detroit. Which brings us to today's dual-feature...you are a senior in high school, it is the night of your prom and you've got two cars to chose from. Do you take Dad's 1977 Plymouth Volare Wagon 4spd manual or Mom's 1977 Datsun 810 Wagon Auto either of which can be had for about $2k today. Both cars are tips from fueltruck.Wednesday, April 24, 2013
