Save Me The Crusher: 1990 Plymouth Laser RS Turbo

This next car comes from tipper Matt C who writes; It needs a lot of work - but the engine is still in the car and the connecting rods are still in the engine, which is about all you can ask for a $750 turbo DSM. For that matter, that's a lot to ask of a turbo DSM at twice the asking price.  Find this 1990 Plymouth Laser RS Turbo offered for $750 near Atlanta, GA via craigslist.

Red White & Blue Plate Special: 1955 Plymouth Savoy Coupe

This next car is our feature for Memorial Day...because I've got some tri tip in the sous vide pot and nothing to do for the next 4 hours...so time to share something that is red-white-and-blue to the bone.  Find this 1955 Plymouth Savoy Coupe offered for $2500 in Belmont, MA via craigslist. Tip from Bill.

Sweet Fishcar: 1965 Plymouth Barracuda

The Plymouth Barracuda introduced the world to fastback shaped pony cars a full two weeks before Ford's Mustang was released in April 1964, but even hardcore Mopar enthusiasts will agree that it is a good thing that the Mustang outsold the Barracuda by a landslide because otherwise we'd be left the strange term fishcar for sporty compact 2+2 fastback/coupes with long hood styling and rear-wheel-drive. Anyway, this pony car looks respectable for the price but it depends on the quality of that paint...if it is a cheap respray -- pass; but if the paint is original or a quality job, this is a winner. Find this 1965 Plymouth Barracuda offered for $7000 in Albuquerque, NM via craigslist.  Tip from FuelTruck.

Does Not Compute: 2001 Chevrolet Camaro...70 Cuda Clone

This next car comes as a tip from Matt C who writes: This is a fourth generation Camaro that is trying to look like a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda; real price is $10,000. Seller says it is one of a kind, and I certainly hope so.  Yikes.  There is so much to ponder in this next craigslist advert.  I had to put down the keyboard...walk away...and come back a few hours later.  I'm still getting a divide by zero error. Its 2 parts awesome and 4 parts WHUT?  Find this 2001 Chevrolet Camaro...70 Cuda Clone offered for $10,000 in Atlanta, GA via craigslist.

Takin' Care of Business: 1947 Plymouth P15 Business Coupe

This next car comes as a tip from SecondMouse who writes: Pining for a post-war classic in two doors, but don't have the scratch to play in the deep end? Here is a decent example in running condition, mostly unmolested and complete, down to the flathead 6. Did you say your brother-in-law just rolled his SRT8? Well, now we got something.  Find this 1947 Plymouth P15 Business Coupe in Jackson, Louisiana, asking $6500 via craigslist.

Mopar Rules: 1975 Plymouth Scamp

Remember the other day when I wrote that the V8 and 4-speed was overrated?  Yeah...I may have been a bit tipsy from the Manhattan that Kaibeezy taught me to make the other day..and the reports of the death of the V8 and manual box have been greatly exaggerated.  Find this 1975 Plymouth Scamp offered for $10.900 in Strasburg, ND via craigslist. Tip from FuelTruck.

Hemi Hot Rod: 1963 Plymouth Valiant Gasser

There is a car phenomenon called "stanced" where people drop cars on airbags and add crazy looking wheels with lots of camber. A lesser person might ridicule these things, but I like to point out that there is a large history behind modifying a vehicle footprint, and the same people who might look down on stancebros will stop and admire a car that has been gasser'd.  Find this 1963 Plymouth Valiant Gasser offered for $9500 in Richmond, VA via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

Bracket Racer: 1966 Plymouth Belvedere II Hardtop

If I'm going to pay money for a classic car, its gonna be for the experience.  I'll pay for something that is unique, interesting, fast (or slow...depends on mood), and fun.  What I won't pay for is some silly badge of exclusivity, the latest trendy flashy cool car, an over priced restoration, or more money than some other guy in a Vegas style auction environment suited to the seller's best interest. This next car is something I could park my hard earned sawbucks into. Find this 1966 Plymouth Belvedere II Hardtop offered for $4900 in Petaluma, CA via craigslist. Tip from FuelTruck.

Mom Car: 1972 Plymouth Valiant Sedan

This next car comes from Doug who writes: Looks like a nice easy project if someone wanted to take this car to the next level. It's surprisingly handsome for a boxy 'mom car' from 72. Not a fancy interior but with a 318 it should have plenty of get up and go. The rallye wheels really set it apart from the rather boring original wheels. Working AC, good looks and only 3000 bucks with only 70k on it. Looks like a very reasonably priced deal to me.  We couldn't agree more! Find this 1972 Plymouth Valiant Sedan offered for $3000 in Phoenix, AZ via craigslist.

Three Stars: 1988 Mitsubishi Starion

If you want a rear drive Japanese classic from the 1980s, the choice is usually between a Celica Supra, RX-7, or 240/280SX...but don't fret, because there is another Skywalker!!  And this 80s Japanese classic comes from the land of the three water chestnuts.  Find this 1988 Mitsubishi Starion offered for $5,500 in Chandler, AZ via craigslist. Tip from FuelTruck.

7.2 Big Block: 1968 Plymouth Fury III

Some cars are all hat and no horse, but today's Plymouth is packing heat (literally no AC car here).  This Fury III has been fitted with the enthusiast's buffet: 440 big block, loud exhaust, B&M ratchet, and posi rear end.  Domestic sedans do not command big resale dollars so you can save up for for all gas which you will consume if you rack up any miles on this thirsty beast.  Find this 1968 Plymouth Fury III for sale in Bremerton, OR WA for $3,500 via craigslist.  Tip from fuel truck.

Revenge of the Rambo: 1965 Plymouth Fury III

Like a good 80s/90s action movie series, the fourth generation Plymouth Fury came in the form of a trilogy -- Fury I, Fury II, Fury III.  The basic Fury I was a good piece of equipment, but the Fury II added some more of "the good stuff" and finally the Fury III was the coup de grâce. Find this 1965 Plymouth Fury III offered for $11,500 in Granite Bay, CA via craigslist. Tip from FuelTruck.

Is This Real? 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner

Prices of classic Mopar 2-doors busted through the roof a few decades ago and they are still HOT HOT HOT, but finding an original paint Roadrunner with a 383 V8 and 4-speed manual for less than $20,000 is really good.  If you don't buy this car...well...somebody else will flip it.  Find this 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner offered for $18,000 in Warsaw, KY via craigslist. Tip from FuelTruck.

Nuclear Frog Barf Green: 1971 Plymouth Fury Custom Suburban Wagon

This next car reminds us what a big thing avocado green was in the early 70's.  Kitchen countertops, appliances, deep shag carpet, and Mopar Wagons.  Make all of your friends green with envy after you whip out a major pile of kermit green cash to pay the asking price on this thing.  Find this 1971 Plymouth Fury Custom Suburban Wagon offered for $17500 in Colorado Springs, CO via craigslist. Tip from FuelTruck.

Straight as a Cellulose-Based Projectile: 1976 Plymouth Arrow 200 GS

It's not often you find a Plymouth Arrow on the pages of DT - in fact we've only ever featured two of them, in the same auction, if you don't count the eponymous pickup truck. That's not for lack of interest, as the little rebadged Mitsubishi fastback has a clean look about it, and that charming early Japanese simplicity and character that stands out as unique 40 years later. Find this 1976 Plymouth Arrow 200 for sale in Tucson, AZ for $3,500 via craigslist. Tip from FuelTruck.

Baby Blues: 1977 Plymouth Fury Sport

What could be better than a two-tone baby-blue/white paint scheme on a classic 70s American land barge...maybe color coordinated 70s sofa cushion interior?  DING DING DING, WINNER!!!  Find this 1977 Plymouth Fury Sport offered for $4,000 in Oceanside, CA via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!
