Revenge of the Rambo: 1965 Plymouth Fury III

Like a good 80s/90s action movie series, the fourth generation Plymouth Fury came in the form of a trilogy -- Fury I, Fury II, Fury III.  The basic Fury I was a good piece of equipment, but the Fury II added some more of "the good stuff" and finally the Fury III was the coup de grĂ¢ce. Find this 1965 Plymouth Fury III offered for $11,500 in Granite Bay, CA via craigslist. Tip from FuelTruck.

Dirty Harry: 1970 Plymouth Fury

The fourth generation Plymouth Fury was released in 1969 featuring Chrysler's fuselage look styling and riding on the C-body platform shared with the other rear-drive full sized cars from Chrysler and Dodge.  Whenever I see one, I can't help but think of those really bad 70s cop shows/movies and smile.  Find this 1970 Plymouth Fury here on eBay offered for $13,888 located in Chicago, IL. Tip from Jeff G.

SFFD Fire Chief Car: 1972 Plymouth Fury III

People joke about red cars being magnets for tickets from the police, but this next red classic is simultaneously the least likely car for you to get a ticket but the most likely car to get you behind bars.  Find this 1972 Plymouth Fury III ex-SFFD Fire Chief car offered for $14,900 in SF Bay Area, CA via craigslist. Tip from Kaibeezy.

7k: Pseudo-Buckskin Beauty: 1966 Plymouth Fury III

The Plymouth Fury was a premium-level sedan named for The Furies, which hail from Greek mythology, and not Furries, which are something else entirely. The two should not be confused. Between the winged and eyelidded '56-'58 (aka "Christine"), and the low and slow Gran Coupes of the 1970s is the generation represented here. The III designation does not denote a noble bloodline traced to Sir Plymouth Fury the First, but rather an upper trim level for this generation, just short of VIP trim. Factory fresh with 105,000 miles, it's a true black-plate survivor for cheap. Find this 1966 Plymouth Fury III for sale in Simi Valley, CA for $7,300 via craigslist.

5k: 'Merican: 1966 Plymouth Sport Fury

The Plymouth Fury was a premium priced, top-of-the-line full-sized offering from Chrysler loaded with premium features and could be powered by all sorts of crazy wedge head or hemi V8s.  Today the Fury isn't highly valued by collectors like a Barracuda or some of the other high priced Mopar muscle out there, but the 2-door car is sharp looking and just as cool.  Find this 1966 Plymouth Sport Fury for sale somewhere in the 818 for $6,995 via cars.com.

2k: Hell Hath No Fury: 1971 Plymouth Fury Gran Coupe

Traditionally a "three box" car with a trunk could be classified as either a two or four-door sedan, or a two-door coupe. You might be forgiven for thinking that a four-door coupe is a recent contrivance from the likes of Mercedes, BMW, Aston Martin et al. But Plymouth had a go at their own "Gran Coupe" in 1971 with a pillarless hardtop version of the four-door Fury sedan. The sleek styling is classic Mopar - long, low and wide. Find this 1971 Plymouth Fury Sedan Gran Coupe for sale in Boise, ID currently bidding on ebay near $1,500, no reserve, with a few hours to go.

5k: Furious Anger: 1970 Plymouth Fury Sport Suburban Wagon

The Quentin Tarantino directed crime film Pulp Fiction includes a fabricated bible quote spoken by Jules Winnfiled (played by Samuel L. Jackson) that features the line: "I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers."  We can't imagine a more fitting car to be driven by Mr L. Jackson than this 1970 Plymouth Fury Sport Suburban Wagon for sale in Libertyville, IL currently bidding on ebay for $6,350 reserve-not-met with less than a day to go.  The hidden headlights just ooze cool and there is plenty of room for Jules and random soon-to-be-dead folks in the back seat.
