Scruffy Trio: BMW E30 Baur Targa, E21 Baur Targa & 2002

This next feature could be a good deal for someone looking for a project, or it could be a total waste of time from a seller who thinks he has some kind of rare artifacts for sale.  The problem is that the seller doesn't list a price, but the collection of cars certainly look cool - lets play spot the cool stuff.  Find this scruffy trio, a BMW E30 Baur Targa, E21 Baur Targa and 2002 offered for an undisclosed price somewhere in the San Fernando Valley, CA.  Tip from Einhander.

The Type 34 was another Ghia styled and Karmann coach-built offering from Volkswagen, but unlike the Type 14 was never imported to the USA.  It may have looked like the Corvair from the rear, but it was a pure Germano-Italiano affair and a surprising number of the Type 34 have found their way onto our shores.  Find this 1967 Volkswagen Type 34 Karmann Ghia convertible basket case offered for $2,500 in West Los Angeles, CA via craigslist.  You are going to need one of those towing thingies to get this home.

Ask any Berkeley graduate (or flunky) their favorite college coffee spot and they will invariably mention Cafe Strada on the southside of campus.  The coffee is decent, seating is limited, decor is ghetto but somehow you keep coming back for more.  Incoming sorority pledges who haven't hit the freshman fifteen yet will rave about Strada's bianca mochas, until they get fat, and then they will complain about being fat.  Anyway, Strada offers minimal comfort, decent pep and dilapidated surroundings...much like this 1981 Fiat Strada offered for $1,000 in Wenatchee, WA via craigslist.
