Senchurī Club: 1991 Toyota Century V40 Emperor Limo

If you were part of the Japanese royal family shopping for a properly prestigious ride in the early 1990s, it didn't make much sense to buy a Cadillac, a Lincoln, a Rolls Royce or a Mercedes S-Class.  What you needed was something domestic to demonstrate your Japanese pride, but a Supra doesn't have a back seat fit for a king...but there was one car from the land of the rising sun that was appropriately boss.  Find this 1991 Toyota Century V40 Emperor Limo here on eBay offered for $7250 buy-it-now or make-offer located in Orefield, PA.

Nine Five...Nein! 1973 Porsche 911 Custom Limo

Wow.  I made a request for Horrorods the other day and BAM -- you guys delivered.  This next one is scarier than Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un taking a strawberry scented bubble bath with Putin, Trump, and Hillary.  Find this 1973 Porsche 911 Custom Limo offered for $24,500 in Silverlake, CA via craigslist.  Tip from Sean S.

Family Style: 1994 Chevrolet Corvette Stretch Limousine

I have a small family. Well...not so small...5 of us in total if you include the wife, which means that we fill any common sedan very quickly -- which leaves limited space for friends, pets, grandparents, hitchhikers, clowns, etc.  Full sized vans are cool, minivans are uncool...but I've always thought that a limo might be the right answer.  Think about it -- take the kids to school, and they can --legally-- mix you a gin & tonic in the back seat for your post school drop-off nap.  But the best part is that I would never have to listen to another "ouch, he is touching my leg" or "but it's my toy" or "the clown is biting my leg" again in my life because that bulletproof divider glass would be PERMANENTLY in the up & locked position.  Find this 1994 Chevrolet Corvette limo offered for $14000 in Mesa, AZ via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

Limo or LMAO? 1992 Buick Roadmaster Limo

After a 33 year hiatus, Buick brought back the Roadmaster name on a full sized body-on-frame station wagon that was assembled in Arlington, TX on a chassis shared with the Chevy Caprice/Impala, Olds Custom Cruiser and Cadillac Fleetwood. The regular sedan version was big, but if you wanted to seat 8 individuals you needed to step up to the wagon...until now.  Find this 1992 Buick Roadmaster Limo offered for $3,500 in Charlotte, MI. Tip from PL.

1952 Chrysler Saratoga Limousine

Limousine ownership is a responsibility not to be taken lightly. Requests to be a wedding chauffeur or designated driver will soon fill your weekends. Unless, that is, you get a limo simply too mangy and scary for everyone but only your best, most deranged friends to ride in. Seating for up to 6 of your motley crew, including a jump seat for the least favorite or most flatulent, completes the package for this 1952 Chrysler Saratoga Limousine on craigslist in Greenville, NC for $3,500.  This post is part of DT's 2016 Birthday Celebration of 100 cars; enjoy the ride!

A Collection of Cadillacs From Kaibeezy

I am afraid that DT's logo guru Kaibeezy has been stricken with some kind of nasty Neptunian virus -- which causes among other things, the desire to drive a giant Cadillac land frigate -- or perhaps the answer is simpler, and is that you just don't see Caddys on Neptune, and absence makes the heart fonder...or was that absinthe? Anyway, enjoy this collection of land frigates from Kaibeezy.

10k: Presidential: 1966 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 Limo

The ninth generation of Cadillac's Fleetwood (1966-1970) was a monster of a sedan/limousine that shared common styling cues with the smaller Series 62 & De Ville, but was an entirely different breed of machine.  Everything on the Fleetwood is larger than life and handles like a granite statue of an automobile -- but if you are a family man looking for the non-minivan in your garage  plus sized driveway, this could be it.  Find this 1966 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 Limo offered for $10,000 in Vancouver, BC, Canada via hemmings.

5k: Plus Sized: 1960 Lincoln Continental Mark V Limo

When we think about the Lincoln LS we think about the modern version which is a pretty reasonably sized car that drove well in V8 trim with its 'cute' little 3.9 V8 that it shared with the remodeled Thunderbird. Just as 1959 was a pivotal year for GM design between their barge like '58's with their Harley Earl chromed excess, and the arrival of their finned counterparts in the '59 (Deer Hunter) Cadillac, Buick's renamed trio Electra, Invicta and LeSabre, the wide-track Pontiacs and the ultra finned Chevy Impala and Biscayne, 1961 was the year of major change over at Ford. Compare the difference between this huge 1960 LS as compared to the 1961 Lincoln Continental that was completely re-proportioned. If you're looking for all the tonnage that Fomoco could offer up in 1960, this is it!  Find this 1960 Lincoln Continental Mark V Limo currently bidding for $4,610 here on eBay, located in Montpelier, OH with 2 days to go.

5k: Hearse When I Laugh: 1979 Mercedes-Benz W123 Wagon

What could be better than a classic Mercedes wagon, with Euro bumpers, long wheelbase, diesel power and a manual transmission?  They are great cars if you like driving slow, and what if you had an additional few thousand pounds to lug around in the form of a hearse conversion?  Time for another Sunday Sanity Check on this one...if you'd drive this...you are certainly insane.  Find this 1979 Mercedes-Benz  W123 Hearse offered for $5,800 in Silverlake, CA via craigslist.

5k: 7 Doors, 12 Passengers, 1 Question: 1969 Ford Galaxie Custom Limo Wagon

The fourth generation Ford Galaxie was a full sized car available from 1969 to 1974 with seating for 9 in the wagon version...that is before Stageway Coachs in Arkansas stretched it an additional 4 feet by adding another door and full row of seats.  The resulting automobile is a 1969 Ford Galaxie custom limo wagon for sale in Westminster, MD for $2995 via craigslist.

10k: 1996 Hummer H1 Limo "Oceans 1"

If you have a large family and find that you are exceeding the limit of minivans, but don't like the fuel economy of full sized vans - we want to point you to used limousines.  Limos can cost mega-bucks when new, but for some reason are very cheap used, possibly due to questionable build quality and the lingering stench of vomit.  Let's hope that isn't the case for this 1996 Hummer H1 Limo, which is for sale in St. Pete Beach, FL from a character called "Limo Bob" and is currently bidding on ebay for $10,000 with 3 days to go.
