Handyman Conversion: 2005 Ford E350 Van

If you are in the market for a causal camping vehicle, you might be tempted to get a full-time camper conversion or get an actual Winnebago, but I think you'll find a few big negatives. First, is that if you don't have covered parking, it will upset your neighbors (particularly in parking restricted urban areas) and second it is worthless for anything other than camping.  And thieves know they are easy pickin' because of minimal security features and are typically filled with easily fenced stuff.  What you REALLY need to get for camping is a heavy duty work truck.
