20k: Canned Yams: 1977 Pontiac Can Am

Back in the 1970s when DT contributor Hunsbloger dressed like Kurt Russell (from the movie Used Cars?) he drove and sold a number of interesting used cars.  Hunsbloger reports that Pontiac Can-Ams were a tough car to sell at the time because they were an ultra niche..for Pontiac.  They were essentially the same idea as the GTO, but without the cachet of the name and plagued by Pontiac's bad decision to drop the GTO.  Find this 1977 Pontiac Can Am for sale in Lincoln, NE for $22,000 via craigslist.  Thanks to tip from Andy L.

20k: Flappy Paddle Golf: 2008 VW R32 DSG

The Mk5 Volkswagen Golf was yet another revamp to VW's front drive econobox, and got a little bit nicer, a bit heavier and generally more boring than the previous incarnation. Thankfully, VW released an R32 version, only sold in the US for the 2008 model year and featuring a 3.2 liter specially tuned VR6 engine, a lightning quick shifting automatic gearbox and all-wheel-drive.  Find this 2008 VW Golf R32 with DSG transmission for sale in Syracuse, NY for $19,000 via NASIOC forums.

20k Flash: 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1; Barn Find

This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is being sold by the owner of a storage lot and is probably a lien sale from the vehicle being abandoned in a storage garage...and we aren't sure why anyone would ever abandon this sweet looking car.  Find it here on ebay currently bidding for $22,000 with 1 hour to go, located in Northvale, NJ.

20k Mayan Carpocalypse: GRX Interceptor, Originally $1.8 Million

If you thought the Mayan Carpocalypse was behind us...well you'd be wrong because we spend good effort on that logo image and it won't just be used once a year like the ill-fated loony-labor-day theme.  Here to continue the preparation for the end of days is a car built for one of the horsemen of the apocalypse - a undisclosed model year GRX Interceptor, built by Tommy 'The Greek' Mouzes, and now for sale in Lancaster, CA, currently bidding on ebay for $20,100 reserve-not-met with less than 1 day to go.

20k: Don't Stop Beetling; Steve Perry's 1958 VW

We are always amused when car sellers claim that their automotive relics were in fact owned by a celebrity at some point, or carried a celebrity's sister to the hair salon one time, or are in fact a front-wheel drive A-body Chevy Celebrity (run!). But today we've stumbled across an automotive brush with fame that will be far more rewarding to own than Justin Bieber's Axe body spray infested CTS-V or Sarah Michelle Gellar's cheap but boring Chrysler LeBaron. This 'restored' 1958 Volkswagen Beetle is claimed to have been owned by none other than Journey frontman Steve Perry, and it can be yours for the not-so-low price of $18,900 including an autographed LP. Find it here on craigslist in San Rafael, CA (big thanks to tip from DT regular Kaibeezy T).

20k: 1973 BMW 2002 Imola Red, Immaculate

Here at the Daily Turismo we prefer our '70s classics to be in great shape, but often aren't willing to pay the premium for perfect cars.  We don't mind a few cuts/bruises and our rides look more like Courtney Love than Kourtney Kardashian.  However, today's featured ride is much more trailer queen than trailer trash but has a matching price tag too!  This 1973 BMW 2002 is just about perfect and offered for sale in Pittsford, MI via ebay, currently bidding at $20,000 reserve-not-met with 2 days to go.
