Half Camper: 1975 Audi Fox Trailer

Building a custom trailer from half of an old car is a hit and miss game where the end result can be range from a fantastic BBQ to something straight from a horror movie.  This next feature is oddly well executed and looks like the perfect trailer for a classic Fox owner.  Find this 1975 Audi Fox Trailer offered for $400 in El Paso, TX.  Tip from Johnny.

5k: Chipotle: 1999 Burro Travel Trailer

Old school Airstream trailers look like big aluminum foil wrapped burritos, filled with open road fun, family adventure, and barbacoa.  Unwrap that aluminum foil cover and inside you find a burrito...well..actually, if you unwrapped an Airstream you'd find a Burro.  Like this 1999 Burro offered here on eBay currently bidding for $3,250 reserve-not-met with 2 days to go.

3.5k: Family Combo: 1970 Custom Renault Trike With Opel Kadett Trailer

Another 3500 smackeroo feature fell into our lap this week, a tip from Gregg who wrote simply have fun with this one.  What else would you expect?  So, I'm going to put this out here:  this next feature is the perfect family hauler.   Find this 1970 Custom Renault Trike with Opel trailer offered here on craigslist for $3,500 located in Daytona Beach, FL.  (The seller mentions that the front section is from a Renault (probably an 8) and the rear looks like an Opel Kadett wagon).

10k: Cheap Hauler: 1969 Peterbilt Semi Truck with 1958 Two Car Stacking Trailer

It is always fun to take your street car to a track event, but it generally isn't a good idea.  Racing accidents, tire wear and comfort/speed tradeoffs inevitably lead to the conclusion that you need a dedicated race car...but now you need a place to store it, a way to haul it to the track...etc.  Those costs can be significant, so why not save the money for racing parts by buying a cheap used hauler.  Find this 1969 Peterbilt Semi Truck with 1958 Two Car Stacker offered for $12,500 in Alameda, CA via craigslist.  Tip from Kaibeezy.

15k: Daily Haulrismo: 2010 Kaufman 5-Car 5th Wheel Trailer

The first thing they tell you at any Junky Car Anonymous meeting is "stay away from enablers;" at least that is what Doctordel told me (a regular JCA participant), because I don't have a car problem and I don't need help (Hunsbloger: Haha - try asking his wife!).  The truth is, I'm an enabler, I find ways for friends to buy cars and help them get them home, which is why I can't think of better feature than a cheap five-car hauler.  Find this 2010 Kaufman 5-car 5th wheel trailer for sale in Milpitas, CA for $13,999 via craigslist.  Tip from the king of enabling car purchases in the SF Bay area, Kaibeezy.

5k: Trailer Queen: 1964 Ford Falcon Ranchero

The Ford Ranchero beat the El Camino to the pickup-car market by two years, a handy fact at Ranchero owner's disposal when everyone asks the model year of their "El Camino".  The Ranchero sold in decent numbers for a specialty vehicle, over 500,000 in its 22 years of production (for reference, that is equivalent to 10 months of 1966 Mustang production...) but it has a bit of a reputation of being mullet-driven.  While the mullet is commonly called "Monday morning in the front, Friday night in the back", the Ranchero is "Monday work truck in the back, Friday cruiser in the front."  Find this 1964 Ford Falcon Ranchero for sale in a mobile home park in Watsonville, CA for $4,750 via craigslist.  Tip from Kaibeezy.

5k: Is This A Trailer? No! It's a 1935 Graham Housecar

Recent hype has surrounded a camper conversion once owned by Steve McQueen, and while he certainly was a legend, the car is just another Chevy pickup with a camper conversion.  Nothing to see, move along please.  Move right along to the strangest camper you'll find on the web.  This is a 1935 Graham Housecar, for sale in Mohawk, NY for $5,500 buy-it-now or best offer on ebay.

10k: Wasteland Thorsday: 1963 Volvo C202 Laplander Military Truck w/ Trailer

Big thanks to tip from DT reader Paul M.

5k: 1987 BMW E30 Trailer; BBQ Power

The E30 generation BMW 3-series was a successful yuppy-mobile when new and has generated a significant cult following as a cheap, fun & reliable sports sedan.  BMW built almost 2.5 million E30s from 1982-1994 in coupe, sedan, estate & convertible trim, but they never built a 'trailer' version...so an E30 fanatic from California did it for them.  This one of a kind 1987 BMW E30 trailer is for sale in La Crescenta, CA currently bidding on ebay for $100 reserve-not-met.
