Happy Easter: 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit Caddy

If you causally mention you have a Volkswagen Caddy, a normal person would assume you had some sort of golf sponsorship...but a not-so-normal person will ohh and ahh for they know how special VW's front-drive water-cooled leisure activity vehicle (LAV...not kidding...that's an actual marketing term).  When I saw the pictures, I was surprised to see snow in Oregon in mid April...until I scrolled down a bit to find the car is located in Alberta, but offered in US dollars on 'Murican ebay. Find this 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit Caddy here on eBay bidding for $4,150 in Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Canada with a few hours to go. Tip from Jim.

68mph Polaris Power: 2006 Golf Cart

You know what the real problem is with the sport of golf?  Aside from putting, because getting that little dimpled ball in the vicinity of the hole is fun, actually getting it into a hole the size of a super big gulp lid is seriously frustrating. So, aside from putting -- and defense...it would be such a good game if the other guy could have a small hockey goalie shaped putter for defense...aside from putting and defense -- the stock golf carts are way too slow.  Ever try to run an electric golf cart through a sand trap -- instantly stuck.  And forget about evading the police, a fat mall cop on a Segway will give you a run in a stock electric cart -- but not today, because some genius has just  fixed golf. Find this 2006 Golf Cart with 500cc Polaris power offered for $5,000 (or a llama) located in Miami, FL via craigslist.

10k: Cheap Hauler: 1969 Peterbilt Semi Truck with 1958 Two Car Stacking Trailer

It is always fun to take your street car to a track event, but it generally isn't a good idea.  Racing accidents, tire wear and comfort/speed tradeoffs inevitably lead to the conclusion that you need a dedicated race car...but now you need a place to store it, a way to haul it to the track...etc.  Those costs can be significant, so why not save the money for racing parts by buying a cheap used hauler.  Find this 1969 Peterbilt Semi Truck with 1958 Two Car Stacker offered for $12,500 in Alameda, CA via craigslist.  Tip from Kaibeezy.

5k: Under Destruction: 1982 Chevrolet Van 8 Wheeler

There are so many things wrong with the next feature, that I cannot begin easily to enumerate them...so instead, let's focus on what is right.  First off, the seller does identify a make/model of the offending vehicle.  Second, the seller includes 3 focused photos.  Finally, it is a shorty-sleeper-flat-bed-van-truck, with 4 axles and 8 wheels.  Find this 1982 Chevrolet Van 8 Wheeler for sale in Underwood, IN for $5500 via craigslist.  Tip from Steven C.

15k: Luxury Truckin: 2002 Lincoln Blackwood

Lincoln had built many cars since the brand was introduced by Henry M. Leland in 1917, but never had the four pointed star emblem been put on a pickup truck.  In 2002 the Lincoln Blackwood was introduced, a re-badged and upgraded version of Ford's popular F-150 pickup.  The production of 3300 of the 2002 Blackwood luxury pickup is fascinating, first because this is a low number to justify tooling/production costs for a large OE like Ford/Lincoln and second because it is shocking you could find that many people to pay $52,000 for an F-150 pickup.  Regardless the Blackwood is cheap on the used market; find this 2002 Lincoln Blackwood for sale in Minden, NV for $15,000 via craigslist.  Tip from Andy L.

1k: Long Wheelbase: 1982 Toyota Hilux Pickup Crew Cab

The last time we featured a 4-banger powered crew cab pickup it was met by our readers with a combination of equal parts awe, consternation and befuddled exasperation. But that was a Plymouth Arrow with a dually setup in the rear...this on the other hand is built from the lauded Toyota Hilux platform and will surely be met with more positive accolades from our dear readers. Find this 1982 Toyota Hilux Pickup Crew Cab for sale in Los Angeles, CA currently bidding on ebay for $255 reserve-not-met with 5 days to go.  Tip from Andy L.
