Today is Easter and in celebration we are giving our ragtag collection of contributors, editors and commenters the day off. Please go spend some time with your family, reconnect with old friends or make some Easter egg cars.Historically eggs, meat and dairy were part of the 40 day Lenten fast, and decorating Easter eggs before gorging oneself on Easter Sunday became quasi-religious activity around the 17th century...when the Easter bunny appeared and how he is related to Easter escapes me. Anyway, the windshield wipers make these Easter egg cars look asleep, but otherwise it is a genius way to force your obsession with cars into yet another traditional holiday.
