Today's featured clean looking cheap classic is from DT regular reader and ebay seller Oprah85 (aka Tamas)We are huge fans of the BMW 'new class' (introduced in 1962 with the 1500, later adding the 1600, 1800, 2000 & 2002) and are particularly fond of the round taillight 2002 Tii (the Tii added Kugelfischer fuel injection to the 2.0 liter engine in the regular 2002). This 1972 BMW 2002 Tii is for sale in Mission Hills, CA and currently bidding for $11,101 reserve-not-met via ebay.
This BMW 2002 looks to be in fantastic condition and we will let the pictures speak for themselves.
Not sure if these rims are OE or something period correct, but they do look excellent on the car.
The 2.0 liter inline 4 puts out 130 horsepower, 130 ft-lbs of torque and is mated to a 4 speed manual transmission.
The inside of 2002 looks to be in good shape and sports a nice Nardi mahogany steering wheel.

Rim style is OEM; gold tone is not. Silver finish would be better match for color and chrome.
ReplyDeleteLooks like she is going to Hollywood
ReplyDeleteYes, wheels are OEM but gold paint? Factory optional alloys are a better fit.
ReplyDeleteIntake plenum is from a '73. The '72 tii had black plastic intake runners.
ReplyDeleteCar has working A/C and a sunroof. Nice. Although the drain tubes from the sunroof are the cause of rust in the inner cavities in which they drain.
