The 1974 Dodge Charger was build on Chrysler's B-body platform and featured huge V8s and crazy colors. As the muscle car era came to a close, so did the awesome legacy of the Charger as the 1975 cars were odd looking re-badged Chrysler Cordobas...ewww. This purple paint on this car looks like the classic Plum Crazy paint color, but it not an original color because the plum crazy paint color was discontinued in 1972 on the Charger line. This car also has flip up headlights from a 1972 Charger.
This purple machine is powered by a 440 cubic inch (7.2 liter) V8 that put out about 275 horsepower in stock trim. Ponies are easily freed for more fun with some intake/exhaust/head work.
The inside of this Charger will need some work, the dash is cracked, seats/door cards etc are looking well worn.
This particular car could be a cheap way to get into an early 70s muscle car, but a thorough investigation into the quality of the modifications is certain required from any potential buyer.

That 440 was a dog due to gummint mandated emissions controls (air pump, etc.) This looks like they may have been removed. A friend had on. The best part about it was the factory 8 track tape player blasting "American Woman" by the Who.
