The Austin Healey Sprite Mk II was small roadster built from 1961-1964
and was styled more classically than the Mk I 'bugeye' Sprite. It also
shared most of its 'under body' parts with the MG Midget MkI and the
Innocenti 950/1100 Spider. We think the MkII Sprite is a gorgeous and
classic British sports car for small people and think this one is a good
buy; 1963 Austin Healey Sprite Mk II for sale on ebay, currently bidding at $4,950 reserve-not-met with 5 hours to go.

Whoa - that is one close up of an SU carburetor, I can almost hear the sound of my wallet being sucked dry. These carbs are attached to a 1275 cc (larger than stock) engine.
Hey - that isn't a fisheye attachment on a SLR, its just a Sanyo compact zoomed all the way wide.

Why...oh...why is this picture included? What possible reason could a buyer want to see a ultra tight pic of the corner of the pink.
The best 3/4 rear view of the car is really horrible... We really like this car, the paint looks good, its clean and the price is great..but the pictures are just atrocious...which is probably why the price is good.

ReplyDeleteI dunno, what would a potential buyer possibly want the vehicle's VIN for? Maybe to do a CarFax search for one thing.
A Carfax report on a '63 Sprite? Good luck trying. The VIN is still useful info for the provenance tracker, but not for vehicle repair history on a car this old.
DeleteThe Mk IIs get a discount from the Bugeyes, but with such good condition and the big motor I'm guessing the reserve is closer to $10K than $5K. Whatever the case it's a better deal than a Mini in similar condition.
