That seller has 9 or 10 vehicles from that same collection for sale on ebay right now. All have healthy bidding, none have their reserve met. He either doesn't really want to sell them, or he's got his head up his ass with regard to how much they are worth.
ReplyDeleteIt is not an XR7 as advertised for that matter. It is equipped with a optional "Décor" interior which leaves you without the leather seats, wood grain dash and guage pack with tachometer and rally clock in the console. They never fit a 351 Cleveland block in them in '68 either, which isn't really a bad thing and is probably fits the faux Eliminator paint and trunk wing thing.
DeleteThese first generation Cougars don't get any respect from the collector market even in pristine original condition, cool as they are.
