I thought the moose was pretty cool the first 37 times I saw it. Now...
ReplyDeleteLose the later wheels and anything less than $12K is an excellent buy here in the east. Clean, low mile, stick 245's are on an upward path. A well known Volvo resto/repair shop in New England has a waiting list in the mid to high teens.
ReplyDeleteGreat cars that are getting some respect. The engines really are as stout as claimed, but peripherals are used up on par with all euro cars of this vintage.
Realizing it is not as trouble-free as a Japanese car helps, and knowing it will still be going 35 years from now with needed repairs helps too.
Hmmm, Seller was 'excited about finally getting his Volvo' but forgot to get the service records?!?!?
