1967 Alfa Romeo Giulia Super Berlina

Tipper Erik202 sent in a tip the other day and included the suggestion that DT does an "Italian" week special...and I thought to myself, this is a great idea, but I need to make sure that my team of editors agreed to this suggestion.  So, I turned to the teddy bear on my left and the bottle of Jim Beam on my right and then realized that I didn't need their permission to do an Italian week and I'm pretty sure the teddy bear is trying to horn in on my gal.  I might have to loosen his lips with a few pints of JB before he admits it, but I've got nothing but time...because, after all, it is Italian week.  Find this 1967 Alfa Romeo Giulia Super Berlina offered for $8000 in Escondido, CA via craigslist. Tip from Erik202.

Why be Normale: 1963 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider

It's funny how we come up with names over time to compartmentalize things.  Back when this Giulia Spider was for sale, there was the Giulia Spider and Giulia Spider Veloce.  Now (at least amongst Alfisi) you have the Veloce , Normale and Abnormale tags for the 101 series Giulias. Find this 1963 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider Normale for sale in Anacortes, WA for $17,500 via craigslist.

1k: Blue and Rust: 1967 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sedan

Another basket-case Alfa Romeo so soon? You bet. This one comes from the Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan family, which was manufactured from 1962-1972, available with a 1.3 or 1.6 liter gasoline engine and the desirable TI trim (TI stands for Turismo Internazionale - a reference to Alfa's racing pedigree).  Today's feature is a total pile of parts with a limited description from the seller...but...and you know we like big buts around here...the price is fantastic.  Find this 1967 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sedan offered for $1,750 CAD ($1399 USD) in Owen Sound, ON, Canada.

10k: Polizia Sedan: 1973 Alfa Romeo Giulia Super 1300

The Alfa Romeo Giulia Super 1300 (Tipo 115.09) was a version of the Giulia sedan sold from 1973 to 1978.  The Giulia was a competitor to the BMW New Class and Datsun 510 but outclassed both of those cars with an Italian take on family motoring.  Find this 1973 Alfa Romeo Giulia Super 1300 currently bidding for $7,600 reserve-not-met on ebay, located in New Egypt, NJ with less than 1 day to go.

15k: Seller Submission: 1973 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1300 Super

The Alfa Romeo Giulia 1300 super should not be confused with the larger 1750 Berlina.  Although they shared many components and styling, the 1750 Berlina rides on a longer wheelbase and isn't as fun in the curves.  The Giulia 1300 on the other hand was the spiritual predecessor to fun sport sedans like the BMW 1600/2000/2002 and Datsun 510 - and combined a lightweight chassis with an eager engine.  Find this 1973 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1300 Super offered for $16,000 in Pensacola, FL via craigslist.  Seller submission from Josh T.

10k DT Flash: 1966 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sedan 1300TI

The Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan was manufactured from 1962-1972, available with a 1.3 or 1.6 liter gasoline engine and the desirable TI trim (TI stands for Turismo Internazionale - a reference to Alfa's racing pedigree). This minty clean 1966 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1300 TI is for sale on ebay in Tarzana, CA currently bidding at $9,500 with 1 day to go.

This Giulia (pronounced with a soft "g" - Joo- lee- A) looks to be in fantastic cosmetic shape and is distinctive in its appearance - no one will mistake this Alfa for a Japanese or American car from the 60s.
