This Mustang packs a bit of a secret under the hood - it is powered by an engine named something like the Magic Super Duper Cobra Snake, but it was originally powered by a simple inline-6...so this means that a previous seller has installed this fire breathing engine. But all the purist Mustang collectors won't touch it -- ergo you can buy this big block V8 powered drop top for 1/10th the price of the real deal.
Squeezed between the '69 chassis' wide fenders is a 428 cobra jet V8 taken from a Thunderbird which would have been called a ThunderJet and rated at 360 horsepower from the factory. It is mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox and will make some wicked sounds when the exhaust is uncorked.
