This next car comes as tip from Erik202 who writes: Forums have the best deals. I swear it doesn't get any better than forums. These cars continue to be criminally undervalued. I have to mostly agree with Erik202, because forums are places were diehard lovers of certain makes/models have a reputation, so they can't go asking insane money or selling something that isn't as advertised, but I've seen some ridiculous stuff on forums too. However, when you find a seller who is more interested in getting his car to a qualified next owner, you can often get some of the best deals on the market..particularly with oddball marques like Saabs or Alfas. This next car is a bit of a puzzle to me -- it looks like the Bremen Mini Mark, which was a VW Type 1 Beetle based kit car that combined the aerodynamics of a 1930s classic with the reliability of the VW chassis...but it appears to have a front engine Chevy V8...so I don't know what I'm looking at. There is an internet reference to a Ford Pinto based Bremen kit, but I can't find much detail on that other than a few pictures on a slightly abandoned theminimark.blogspot.com website. The Volkswagen Brasilia was sold in Brazil (and Mexico) from 1974 through 1982. The type 321 was manufactured by Volkswagen on Brazil and borrowed most of its chassis from the Karmann-Ghia and engine from the Beetle., but the styling was pure squareback cool. This is the first we've featured on DT, probably because they were never sold new here, and this one is south of the border. This next van, like all vans, exudes a certain degree of sketchiness...not to the level of the infamous "Free Candy" van, but its on the spectrum. The Chevrolet Corvair was a world changing car when introduced in 1960. Its combination of subtle styling, aircooled alloy flat-6 out back and unibody construction was a fantastic machine that was the unfortunate recipient of the attention of a savvy young lawyer/politician named Ralph Nader who needed to make a name for himself.
