Clean retail book for this car is $13000, but I don't think it applies to this car.  If you want to be one of the last remaining clown shoe jockeys, you are going to pay a premium.  Find this 1999 BMW M Coupe offered for $28,000 in Lincoln, NE via craigslist. DTO: DOKA Explorer: 1978 Mercedes-Benz LA911B

 The Mercedes-Benz L-series is a conventionally setup truck (engine in front), but with an engine that is pushed into the cab and is called a Kurzhuaber (Short Bonnet) in Germany.  It was a heavy duty monster designed for hauling trailers, but could also be available in a number of people hauling versions.  Find this 1978 Mercedes-Benz LA911B DOKA Explorer here on eBay offered for $35,000 buy-it-now or make-offer located in North Richland Hills, TX.  Tip from Sean.

The DTO (Daily Turismo Omologato) is a rare or interesting example of a DT-friendly classic or performance vehicle, but priced somewhere above the self imposed DT cap of $20k. We see these cars as weekend fun machines that you probably wouldn't want to drive to work every day, unlike a regular Daily Turismo. Today's DTO feature is none other than a genuine Holman Moody engineered 1963 Volvo 1800 road racer. The car has a long and documented history, has been a privateer track car since new, and was thoroughly reengineered and rebuilt by famed NASCAR racing team Holman Moody in the early 1980s. This is a Daily Turismo Exclusive listing - you won't find it anywhere else! It would be a great vintage racer and a solid investment given the history and unique setup. It is being offered by current owner Mitch Duncan, who has owned it since 1996 and is a retired Volvo Cars North America executive. DTO: Special E32: 1989 Alpina B11

The E32 generation BMW 7-series was built from 1986-1994 and offered high-end luxury cruising for 5 adults, but it was more of a car to be chauffeured than driven.  Enter the Bavarian turner Alpina, which created hopped up versions with tuned engines, stiffer suspensions and sporty body kits.  Find this 1989 Alpina B11 for sale from North Shore Autosport, located in Chicago, IL for $23,800 asking.  As seen on germancarsforsaleblog.com.

DTO: Charity Auction: 2014 Kia Sorento EX; Justice League Graphics

Daily Turismo Omologato is a series where we feature unique cars that are well above the normal DT priceline, but are unique, interesting, zany enough that we can pass them up...think of it like DT Private Reserve Mountain Dew Code Red.  The Kia Sorento is a car based SUV/crossover family hauler built in West Point Georgia with seating for 7.  This 2014 Kia Sorento EX is decorated in a Justice League (Batman, Superman, Wonderwoman and some other tights wearing dudes) graphics sceme by DC Entertainment and is being auction on ebay with all proceeds going to charities, current bidding for $38,000 with a few hours to go.

DTO: Daily Turismo Omologato: 1972 Volvo 1800 ES; 19,000 Mile Survivor

We recognize that Daily Turismo has posted enough Volvo P1800 series cars to start our own fan site, but we're not alone. Demand for the P1800 , 1800S and 1800E Saintly Coupes and the 1800ES wagon is on the rise and the prices are going up.  The 1800ES falls somewhere between a hatchback and a shooting brake, but no matter what you call it, it's an endearing and enduring shape.
