The Volvo 740 is an unlikely vehicle to lay thick black stripes through multiple gears on dry pavement, but here indeed we have it....again. If you are a regular on this site, you might remember when it first appeared in late 2012 from its builder Yoshifab, and then when it popped back up on ebay in March and then April 2013 from a seller in Ohio. Surprise, surprise, this 1992 Volvo 740 with LS1 V8 SwapThis LS1 powered Volvo keeps coming back for sale like the burning sensation of a reoccurring case of the clap, but man it would seriously cure your itch for speed. The seller is still using the same pictures and much of the same text... must not have sold ... again or it just keeps coming back.
Wonder what their real price will be this time..tips@dailyturismo.com

Someone on the DT editorial board NEEDS this car. I humbly suggest that THORSHMMR would be a great plate.
ReplyDeleteHow about we organize the purchase on KickStarter? (by "we" of course I mean "anyone but me"). You could offer to display contributors names on the body work, or give free rides during a travelling road show around the continent. Or you could somehow link it to supporting villages near the rubber plantations that you will be keeping viable.
I remember the seller had a successful action last time. Buyer must of backed out for some reason.
