5k: Vetteswagen: 1984 Chevrolet Corvette with VW Beetle Body

You know what they say, when it rains VW-custom tips, it pours insanity....wait...nobody says...that...well, they should.  Anyway, the famous Corsican general Napoleone di Buonaparte was quoted as saying  "There are two levers for moving men -- interest and fear."  Today's feature peaks piques both interest and fear for a variety of reasons.  Find this 1984 Chevrolet Corvette with VW Beetle body for sale in Stockton, CA for $7,500 via craigslist.  Tip  from Morgan H.

What we can see from this photo is a VW Beetle body on top of some classic C4 Corvette 5-lug wheels..and unfortunately that is the only photo in the ad.  How can you expect to sell a Bugette with a single photo and a ton of unanswered questions.  How is the body attached to the frame?  What does the interior look like?  Who is the lady in the green shirt?  The seller does state that it has no tags, so we can only assume this means it is titled as the Volkswagen Beetle.
