The rattle can painted Electric script on the side, cowl induction style hood and non-pop up headlamps ruin the clean 924 lines and wouldn't have been our first choice.
This 924 was converted to electric power via a lead-acid battery and DC motor system installed in 2009 by a former employee of Green Shed Conversions. The 924 can be fully charged in 5 hours from a 220V 35amp connection and will top out at 80mph and give 20-40 miles of range. If you've got a short commute and a garage for charging it will probably be cheaper than gas and the back seats have been retained in the conversion.
The pop-up headlamps have been converted to some kind of fixed lights and not for the better, it just looks wrong, but at least drag will be lower when they are on. The price is a bit optimistic on this listing as a really nice original condition 924 will go for much less than this, but give the listing a few weeks/months and the seller will become negotiable.
