Bustle-Back Scout: 1980 Cadillac Seville 4x4

The controversial 1981-85 Cadillac Seville was one of legendary GM designer Bill Mitchell's last designs.  The bustle-back rear styling made waves when introduced, but it was the truly horrendous lineup of engines that did the car in. This generation of Seville had three of the most horrendous and half baked engines ever to come out of General Motors: the 350 converted diesel, the displacement on demand V8-6-4, and 4.1 4100 V8.  Today's Caddy goes in an all together different direction by putting the bustle-back body onto a International Scout 4x4 frame and drivetrain. Find this 1980 Cadillac Seville for sale in Lancaster, PA for $1,500 via craigslist.

15k: Snowbird Sleeper: 1999 Cadillac STS, Turbocharged

At the intersection of dentures and drag radials  where AARP meets ARP head studs  is a beige on beige front-drive Caddy with a 70mm secret. Joining that big turbo is a long list of supporting modifications that wouldn't look out of place on a Pro Street Camaro listing. With the stock 4.6-liter transverse-mounted Northstar V8, it all adds up to a staggering 650 horsepower at 21psi. Who needs head gaskets anyway? Find this custom turbocharged 1999 Cadillac Seville Touring Sedan for sale in Dayton, OH for $14,900 via craigslist.

5k: Crazy Train: 2001 Cadillac Seville SLS

There was a time when Cadillac built high end luxury cars that were built to give the best driving experience to their owners in their day-to-day lives, and not set lap times on the Nürburgring.  Sometime between the golden era and today Cadillac stopped offering the latest and best luxury features and started offering cars that were just good enough for their elderly buyers and recently have been focused on chasing German cars and their lap times. In the meantime companies like Tesla figured out how to build exclusive and exciting cars and Cadillac only soldiers on with something that people in Nebraska (no offense to any Cornhusker readers) and Nürburg would find exciting, but they lost the Hollywood glamour along the way.  Thankfully on the used car market, a nasty little devil called depreciation levels the playing field and a used Cadillac from the front-drive-era can be a surprising treat for a pittance.  Find this 2001 Cadillac Seville SLS for sale in Hollywood, FL currently bidding for $3,550 with one day to go.

5k: 1976 Cadillac Seville Pickup; Riddler

Unique cars often stimulate interesting questions; for example the Subaru STi make us want to ask - how did a group of adults release a car that looks like this?  Another question: why would a single person buy any new Lincoln offering?  But today's feature item makes us ask the following question: what would the Chevy SSR look like if it had been designed by a group of meth addicts in backwoods Georgia?  The answer is this 1976 Cadillac Seville pickup currently for sale in Cumming, GA on ebay with a buy it now of $2,500. We continue this feature in the style of the riddler...any questions?
