A Fiero By Any Other Name: 1985 Ferrari Kit Car by Corson Motors

It seems that many of the Porsche 365 Speedster replicas floating around on the street are of a quality to be almost indistinguishable from the real deal by anyone except a real Poooooooorsche aficionado. The Fiero was first launched in 1984, but GM finally fitted the mid engine Fiero with a proper suspension for the 1988 model year and then promptly discontinued the car.  The 1988 cars are the rarest and most desirable Fiero's to own.  These cars are definitely on the DT list of most commonly featured engine swaps.  Today's car prompts a tough question to answer: is it wiser a to leave a stock 1988 car alone or throw caution to the wind and pick a favorite GM fwd engine to swap in??  Will a nice 1988 Fiero GT ever appreciate in the future?  I think I'll stick to this stock example. I was making a dumpster bin run in one of the ritzier parts of town the other day and...you'd be amazed at the stuff that well-to-do folks consider garbage and leave in their trash, on the curb, or in a locked safe in their panic room...and I noticed something-- ever third driveway had a Tesla Model S parked next to a Maserati, Range Rover, or Jeep Grand Wagoneer.  Naturally, when I returned to a place with free wifi, I did a quick interweb search and found that those Teslas are still bloody expensive on the used market.
