The Pontiac Fiero was an attempt by General Motors to built something revolutionary that would create excitement for their Pontiac brand...except that in typical GM fashion they ended up shooting themselves in their axle nuts. What could have been a wicked vehicle ended up saddled with low-power engines (Iron Duke anyone?) and handling-by-brutus. Find this 1986 Pontiac Fiero GT offered for $6,000 in Tigard, OR via craigslist.

The car runs/drives according to the seller (who also did the swap) and you can see it in action in a few youtube videos. However, the seller goes on to say that the car needs a little work to be a good daily, which could mean any number of things, BUT is probably the best way to buy a used car.
