The Studebaker Lark was a compact family car built from 1959 through 1966, and assembled at Studebaker's South Bend, Indiana manufacturing plant. The numerical designation (VI or VIII) on the side of a Lark doesn't
refer to model generation as is typical of similar era cars, it actually
designates the number of engine cylinders (I6 or V8). Find this 1960 Studebaker Lark VIII 4-door Wagon here on eBay

A classic Studebaker offers a decent amount of vintage cool for a small price, and the marque still has a sizable following. It isn't some one-off oddball where you are going to have to machine your own replacement parts from scratch.
The Lark VIII had a reputation for being a fast compact back in the day -- a 1960 Falcon, Comet, Corvair or Valiant all took approximately 20 seconds to reach 60mph, but the Lark VIII could do it in 10 seconds. It won't be fast in today's world of 270 horsepower minivans, but it won't feel dog slow...like a VW Beetle.

I actually really like this visually challenged wagon. Surf racks and a Yater would be great for around here.
