Only One Around: 1954 Moskvitch 400

What happens when you take the design of the pre-war German built Opel Kadett and combine it with the capabilities of the Moscovskiy Zavod Malolitrazhnyh Avtomobiley (Moscow Factory for Making Small Cars) and the direction from Joseph Stalin himself...?  It isn't entirely clear to me, but I'm sure it involved many knocks on doors in the middle of the night before the Moskvitch 400 got to 50 mph.  Find this 1954 Moskvitch 400 offered for $3,950 in Hunlock Creek, PA via craigslist. Trumped Up: 1989 Tatra 613

I'm sure it is only a coincidence with the new administration in the White House, but I've noticed a recent uptick in the number of cars being offered from ex-Soviet bloc members on USA ebay.  Most of the Volgas and Gazs are just not interesting enough to get my attention (many are some kind of Fiat), but a rear engined aircooled V8 fastbackish 4-door?  Da, now I'm interested.  Find this 1989 Tatra 613 here on eBay bidding for $6,700 with 5 days to go, located in Cherry Hill, NJ.
