Monster Truckin: 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 Custom

Marty McFly may have driven Doc Brown's DeLorean into the past (and then back to the future), but if you watched the film carefully, you will remember that he lusted after a Toyota 4X4 pickup, which Biff was nice enough to wax for him in the end.  Perhaps if Marty had built the original time machine it would look a little bit more like this thing.  Find this 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 Custom here on eBay with starting bid of $9,999 located in Hickory Flat, MI with 2 days to go.  Tip from Patrick.

Back to the Future II: 1976 BMW 633CSi E24

We spent most of Oct 21st, 2015 enjoying recreations of the vehicles from the Back to the Future trilogy, but apparently one of the actual movie cars was on its way to auction.  Find this 1976 BMW 633CSi, Griff Tannen's car from Back to the Future II here on icollector.com, heading to an online auction on Oct 24th with pre-bidding around $11k.

Even Closer! 1985 Toyota Pickup, 4x4 w/ XtraCab

DT's Editor-in-Chief Vince found a sweet 1981 Hilux and scheduled it a few days back, and I don't want to rain on his parade, but... this one is better. It's a faithful reproduction of the original movie truck, down to the black paint, front and rear tubular bumpers, show bar with KC Daylighters, and the wheels & tires. The seller shows a bunch of BTTF celebrities posing with the truck (I believe that's Claudia Wells aka Jennifer in the pic below). Find this 1985 Toyota (Hilux) Pickup for sale in Hill Valley, CA for $16,900 via craigslist.Tip from Safety Fast.

Close Enough: 1981 Toyota Hilux SR5 4X4

In the first Back To The Future movie, Marty McFly is obsessed with a black 1985 Toyota pickup, and (spoiler alert!) he gets the car (and the girl) at the end of the movie.  The pickup in the movie is a 4th generation XtraCab with a "show bar" setup in the bed replete with KC Dayliters, but the best Hilux I could find for sale was this 3rd generation example, so the past is the future in this next Back To The Futurismo feature.  Find this 1981 Toyota Hilux SR5 4X4 here on eBay bidding for $9,300 with 2 days to go located in Puyallup, WA.

Calvin Klein's Uncle's Car: 1949 Packard Super 8 Victoria Convertible

If you're going to be a time-machine building physicist, we figured, why not drive a car with some style? No, not the time machine itself; nevermind that now, nevermind that now. Doc Brown's personal ride in the 1950s was a 1948 Packard Custom 8 Victoria Convertible. Turns out those are hard to find, as just over 1,100 were made originally. So you'll have to forgive the crudity of this comparison - we didn't have time to paint this one or build it to scale. Find this 1949 Packard Super 8 Victoria Convertible (basically the same car) for sale in Orange Village, OH for $44,900 via Hemmings. Tip from ELB.

Tannen Bomb: 1946 Ford Super Deluxe

What are you looking at, butthead?  Biff Tannen's choice of car in 1955 was a black Ford Super Deluxe.  Built from 1946 - 1948, it would have been a cheap, old, used car in the age of newer is better, that a large, rude bully that lived with his grandma could afford.  Biff's Super Deluxe appeared in both part 1 and part 2 of the Back To The Future trilogy.  Find this 1946 Ford Super Deluxe for sale in Seattle, WA for $37,000 via craigslist. Tip from Biff Tannen.

Back To The Futurismo: 1982 DeLorean DMC-12

A flying DeLorean...sure, I can get behind that.  Even a hoverboard, well we sort of have those...but the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series -- that is just ridiculous.  Today is Oct 21st, 2015, the day to which Marty McFly jumped forward at the end of the original Back To The Future and spent the bulk of his time in Back To The Future II.  So sit back, pop open a cold one, and enjoy today's collection of cars from the Robert Zemeckis trilogy.  Let's kick things off the right way with this 1982 DeLorean DMC-12 here on eBay bidding for $23,700 with an auction that ends at October 21, 2015 at 4:29, located in Brentwood, TN.

15k: All Waxed Up: 1985 Toyota Hilux 4x4, Back to the Future Replica

As longtime fans of anything with wheels, and classic movies featuring wheeled vehicles, we here at the Daily Turismo get excited when real movie cars or even nice replicas come up for sale. There has been a lot of action lately among Back to the Future fans, with hyper-realistic recreations of the DeLorean time machine being created, and one of the originals being restored. Biff Tannen's 1946 Ford Deluxe convertible was sold a few years back - one of the real deal cars from the films. Today's Toyota is not a real movie star but it's a pretty damn good replica and will give you all of the enjoyment of having Marty McFly's prized 4x4 without having to deal with the liabilities and responsibilities of owning an actual piece of Hollywood history. Find this 1985 Toyota Hilux 4x4 Back to the Future replica for sale here on ebay in Jamul, CA for $14.5k Buy it Now or make offer, with a few hours remaining.
