    Looks like an intake manifold. Looks aluminum. Short runners, so probably part of a V6 or V8. Playing the odds, probably built before mid-90's because not covered with plastic cladding.

    That shadow pattern says it's under a louvered hood, which has been raised up for the photo. See how it wraps around where the aluminum flattens? I'm guessing 1930's era hot rod with custom bits. Was there something in the news this week?

      KBZ -- yes, I was at SEMA this past weekend, I did take some pics...but this is not one of them. Car is stock.

    Looks like exposed exhaust pipes. Benz or Cord would be too easy, so I'm guessing a Zimmer Golden Spirit. Surprisingly they are still making them at over $250k - the car for people that tweet in ALL CAPS.
