I'm getting ready for the 4th of July and trying to get into the spirit of things , so I jumped when I saw a 2-door muscle car from tipper FuelTruck offered for a fabulous asking price. A 2-door hardtop Muscle car from the mid 1960s will fetch a pretty penny if it is sold on craigslist or some big name auction tent...but here we've got one that is offered for a huge discount. What gives? The seller writes "OLDER RESTO SOME RUST SPOTS MUST SEE". Let's take a closer look.
Egads, this isn't an older resto...this is a hunk of metal doing an incredible Swiss cheese impersonation. Run away. Run FAR away. Or pick this thing up for $4k, drive for a year (don't wait too long...) and sell it to someone else in a year for $4k. Enjoy the breeze.

That thing looks like it'll go fifty feet, then the doors and wheels fall-off from the rust. The floorboards prolly look like a glass-bottomed boat. Someone painted over RUST That's a clue!

Umm, I don't know how you manage to color sand a car that has holes in it. I'd end up going right down to metal (or what's left of it).
I love this body style, sad to see it in such bad shape.
