The Ford Falcon looks great in 2-door Futura hardtop trim, particularly when painted in black and wearing steelies with dog dish style hubcaps. Heck, this one even looks good sitting on a trailer, and that is indeed an unusual occurrence! Find this 1964 Ford Falcon Futura Hardtop here on eBayThe Falcon shares its major components and chassis with the Mustang, which means that the aftermarket is plentiful and cheap, but a Falcon hardtop might actually be cooler than a Mustang coupe. Under the hood on this one is a 289 cubic inch Ford V8 mated to a floor shifted 3-speed manual. Unfortunately this car is going to need quite a bit of work before you can drive around.

Looks like somebody already Brought a Trailer.
ReplyDeleteI don't see why this is already up to $7,600 being a completely stock garden variety Falcon. Lots of 64-65 V8 Falcon's out there for less than this, even restored ones are around $10k. Do people like the story? The color? Looks like the seller struck gold.
ReplyDeleteSeller has poor feedback, private listing, and a high price.
DeleteIt is possible he is pushing up the price using fake accounts trying to sucker somebody.
I just noticed this is a conversion from Auto to stick and the original auto column shifter is still there. Poor quality conversion. I'll bet the original color was white, based on the color under the door panels. The seller makes it sound like it's all original (grampas car), but it is plenty molested.
