The pontoon fender styled '49 Ford is instantly recognizable by anyone with the slightest automobile knowledge. The front features a central bullet element in the center of a frowny face grill and two prominent headlights.
Power in this Shoebox comes from the standard 3.7 liter L-head inline-6 and it was rated at 95 horsepower and 180 ft-lbs of torque -- a number that was comically close to the 100 hp from the "upgrade" 3.9 liter flathead V8.
