The Rothman Special: 1928 Model A Ford Sprint Car

I'm not sure what the going rate for an old Ford Model A Sprint car is these days, but I can tell you that this would be a great car to compete in the next The Race of Gentlemen or a daily driver for a fair weather commute. I can tell you one thing, to build this car, it would cost more than the asking price. Find this 1928 Model A Ford Sprint Car here on eBay offered for $8,500 buy-it-now located in Reading, PA.

Not An Omniturner: 4C Supermodified Honda Racer

Building and campaigning a race car is an expensive hobby and the amount of time/money you need to spend for a few 20 minute sprint races is...well...pretty nuts.  Imagine, however, that you could dual purpose your racer -- drive it at the track AND to work on Friday.  I wonder how hard it would be to get specialty vehicle construction plates for something like this 4C Supermodified 5/8 scale CBR Honda powered thing here on eBay bidding for $2750 reserve-not-met with $3,500 buy-it-now located in Seaford, NY.

Daily Turismoween Update; Free T-Shirt up for grabs + 15K: 1960 Sprint Car!

Just a quick update to DT readers - the Daily Turismo free T-shirt is still up for grabs as we have not received a single Horrorod suggestion.  If we don't get one before Oct 31 we will be forced to wear the T-shirt ourselves and rip if off at midnight in a Hulk Hogan style display of strength, judgement and awesome.  Perhaps someone will record it with an iphone and post it on the internet.  DT will now return to our regular programming...which is this 1960 Street Legal Sprint Car available for $15,000 buy-it-now on ebay - located in Lakeside, CA.
