The seller of this next thing starts his advert off with the casual question; Did you see the movie "Ford Vs Ferrari"?  The answer, of course, is yes...but I do have a counter question; Did you see any Pontiac Fiero parts in Ken Miles' GT40?  Mmmmmm. Not a Ferrari Kit: 1975 Fiberfab Aztec 7 w/ Ford V6

I always find it interesting when a seller offers a car for sale on craigslist, but apparently has little idea of what kind of car he/she is actually selling.  The seller lists this as a "Ferrari" kit car, but there was no Ferrari that looked like this thing back in the day -- and the car is a Fiberfab Aztec 7, which was modeled to resemble Marchello Gandini's 1968 Paris Auto Show concept known as the Alfa Romeo Carabo...again...not a Ferrari.  It isn't a bad looking example of a Fiberfab kit and is probably worth the low asking price. Fiberfab Aztec 7: 1966 Alfa Romeo Carabo

The Alfa Romeo Carabo was a Marcello Gandini of Gruppo Bertone designed concept car that not only perfected wedge styling but also was equipped with wicked scissor doors..but you can't afford one if you could find one for sale, so why not get the Walmart version -- something called the Fiber Fab Aztec 7 that included most of the wedge-i-ness and a set of gull wing doors.  Find this 1966 Alfa Romeo Carabo Fiber Fab Aztec 7 offered for $6,000 in Sherman Oaks, CA via craigslist.

Ford GT-40 Replica: 1969 FT Bonito Kit Car by Fiberfab

The world of GT-40 replicars runs the gambit from atrocity to travesty, but in this next car we might have found a bit of a gem.  The FT Bonito was sold as a kit by Fiberfab and sold mostly in Germany and the Netherlands according to various furrin language websites. EJ25 Powered Ford GT40 Kit: 1965 Fiberfab Avenger

In 2015 Ford announced that they were returning to the 24 Hrs of LeMans in 2016 with an EcoBoost V6 powered racer to compete in the LM GTE Pro class.  Early races were marked by the typical issues you'd expect from a brand new race car, but Chip Ganassi Racing scored their first win last weekend at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and are looking sporty for LeMans on the weekend of June 18-19th.  Good for Ford and with any luck they will sell a few of the Canadian built GT street cars when they hit show rooms for the 2017 model year.  Of course you aren't going to be able to buy your own Ford GT without first becoming a millionaire, so why not take a look at what you can get that looks like a Ford GT.  Like this 1965 Fiberfab Avenger here on eBay bidding for $6,766 with 3 days to go, located in Kyle, TX.

I've mentioned in the past that some cars are like Pringles, once an engine pops, you can't stop buying more parts cars.  Owners of the iconic Volkswagen Beetle are prime offenders, probably because the cost to buy a parts car is considerably less than the sum of their parts, but it also spreads to classic British roadsters, such as the Triumph Spitfire and MGB.  What I haven't seen before is a collection of kit cars that looks like a post apocalyptic dealer show room like this collection of Fiberfab Jamaicans.  Find this group Fiberfab Jamaicans offered from $1200-$3900 from bare body, rolling chassis or Ford V8 powered, located in Volusia, FL.  Tip from Dascpcu.

A long time ago, in an alternate dimension, a young Bruce Wayne is orphaned.  His parent's wealth is soon depleted by a drunken Alfred's gambling spree and young Bruce is cast into the abyss of foster care.  He is a nice kid and soon enough adopted by Mama June and Honey Bear of Honey Boo Boo fame. Hours turn to years and Bruce's anger towards the world is not tempered.
