Tupac's Last Ride: 1996 BMW 750iL

When I first saw this listing, I thought -- DT is not a place for murderabilia, we are better than that.  And then I remembered that we aren't better than anything, and one of DT's early breakout stories was Dr Jack Kevorkian's death van.  So...yup, this next thing is a perfect fit.  Find this 1996 BMW 750iL that was the scene of Tupac's untimely murder offered for $1.5 million smackeroos via Momentsintime.com.  


Back in the mid 1990s, there was an up and coming rapper named Tupac Shakur (born Lesane Parish Crooks) who was the son of Black Panther Party revolutionaries and an early star in the gangsta rap scene. On Sept 7th, 1996, Tupac (25 years old at the time) was gunned down while riding in this BMW 750iL that was piloted by Suge Knight and registered to Death Row Records.  Is this car worth $1.5 million bucks?  Certainly not to me, but to a die hard fan and murderabilia collector...maybe?

    you're right, nothing tasteful can be said about this - there are only a couple of other photos focusing on the car - looks like the awful wheels have been fixed up
