I got a broken down car,
I’m gonna push it up the hill,
If I can make it that far,
‘Cause everything I own is a broken down piece of junk

Is another man's worse bad luck,
If I ever crawl outta this hole alive,
I'm gonna spend every last buck, buck, buck."
The ad optimistically states that this car is a "great candidate for a full restoration". No doubt it will cause you to spend every last buck to patch the numerous holes in the monocoque body.
Frankly, I'm amazed that this car doesn't just fold in half. I guess it is a testament to the strength of the Giulietta's roof. Prices are moderately on the upswing for Alfa's (as they are in general for classics), but I'm not sure even with your free labor, how it wouldn't be a Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, restoring this car.

For this car to truly be a great candidate, it should come with its own Super-PAC.
ReplyDeleteBTW, nice "Voyage to the bottom of the sea" reference. That took me back to Saturday afternoons, when I was eleven.
