Some cars for sale on the interweb seem to have an answer for a question that no one ever asked. How many Vega wagon owners would think to themselves, "I want to lift this thing and go off road."? We have a unfinished project here that has some odd things finished and many important ones left to go. Find this 1974 Chevrolet Vega wagon for sale in Exeter, NH for $5,000 via craigslist.
The seller notes that he has the drive shaft, steering column, nice doors, seats, headliner, roll bar, and other miscellaneous parts in with the sale. The rear seats are not present. The entire area behind the front seats are covered in what looks to be pieces of the former Boston Garden parquet floor instead of carpet.
The rear window appears has a quote from vintage cartoon Tooter Turtle???

Cory is working on his 1995 Mercedes C36 project car and also starting to part out the crap box 1998 Mercedes C43 he recently bought on eBay.

ReplyDeleteThe Vega doesnt want to be here anymore either.
ReplyDeleteI've never owned a car with a mural on the hood... and this car is not going to change that.

ReplyDeleteNice floors?
I like the peekaboo box wood doors on the floor - guess it makes it easier to see where you snapped a driveshaft or trashed the rear diff?
ReplyDeleteThis is the best use of a Vega yet.
Finally! I've been looking for a purple Vega wagon with a sweet airbrushed wizard on the hood sitting on a Jeep chassis.
