Alto In The Name of Love: 1987 Suzuki Alto Works RS-R

The Suzuki Alto was a cheap and uninspiring little keconobox, but if you had the scratch, you could upgrade some of the metal bits (and plastic pieces) to the Works version, or better yet, the RS-R.  The Works upgrades unleashed the full potential of the little s-box and turned it into a plastic scoop bedazzled fun box.  Find this 1987 Suzuki Alto Works RS-R offered for $7000 near Cincinnati, OH via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

Kei For Klown: 1990 Suzuki Alto Works Turbo

The Japanese Kei car in basic form is barely usable on US streets a small caterpillar inching along in the slow lane, but get a turbo fancy-pants factory works edition and suddenly it becomes a beautiful butterfly darting through traffic.  Find this 1990 Suzuki Alto Works Turbo offered for $7,500 somewhere in Texas via 6speedonline.com forum classifieds. Tip from Sean.

JDMouse: 1987 Suzuki Alto Works RS-X

The Suzuki Alto was a stripped down Kei car for Japanese city use, but the Works RS-X version added a turbocharger and all-wheel-drive to up the fun factor to 11.  This next Alto is a real traffic stopper and the car from behind the scenes of this week's What Am I?  Find this 1987 Suzuki Alto Works RS-X offered for $11,500 near Detroit, MI via craigslist.  Tip from FuelTruck.

5k: Can't Top This: 1991 Suzuki Alto Works RS/X

It never fails to happen.  You post up some funky version of an oddball car and another one appears with a better price tag.  It isn't like you'd expect to see another Suzuki Alto for sale in Canada, much less an example of the crazy RS turbo version...but...here it is.  Find this 1991 Suzuki Alto RS offered for $4,995 CAD ($3,994 USD)

10k: Keick In Up A Notch: 1990 Suzuki Alto RS/R TwinCam

The Suzuki Alto started life at the bottom of Suzuki's Kei car lineup back in 1979.  By the 3rd generation (1988-1994) its 125 inch length, 54 inch width, and 54 inch height made it similar in size to a pinewood derby car, but the Alto Works version with twin cam turbo power is anything but a gravity powered slowpoke.  Find this 1990 Suzuki Alto RS/R TwinCam here on eBay offered for $10,200 buy-it-now or make offer, located in Thornhill, Ontario, Canada.
