So you have over 100K banging around in your used car fund. That equates to 32 Subaru Justys, 20 nice Fiat X1/9s, 10 decent Porsche Boxsters or 100 used-up Pontiac Aztecs. Hey, some of us see a wide expanse of used car possibilities on which to blow our cash. Part of you, however, wants to go all-in for the most impractical show of excess that you can possibly get for the money. And because you are still a childish fool, you would go for the most attention-grabbing color you could find: yellow. Truth told, this car car is probably far more usable than, say, a Diablo or a Countach. Since you are on a shoestring budget, though, you can't drive this like your 2004 Chevy Aveo. You will have to now do things like turn it off and lock the doors when you go into the grocery store. You will park it in the remotest corner of every parking lot you use. In fact, just the thought of somebody bumping it with a door or nudging it with a shopping cart fills you with rage, doesn't it?

You will drive it only on days when rainfall is unlikely and a safe distance from any vehicles that might be throwing up rocks to chip the finish at highway speeds. There are pot-holed roads and speed bumps that you will carefully plan to avoid. This is okay, because adding miles to the odometer only edges you closer to the next clutch or belt replacement that costs more than the GDP of the Republic of Congo. Even tires and oil changes are going to be frighteningly expensive.

With such little driving allowed, it is unlikely that you will ever get tired of the pull from the 5 liter V-12 nor its siren song. You will be the envy of everyone in your small midwestern town, if that sort of thing does it for you. If you are a commoner, you will have some idea of what it is like to be a celebrity if you own this car. As far as bucket list items go, Lamborghini ownership is one block that most people will never check.  Is it worth the cost?  Maybe.
