An updated version of the CLK-Class hardtop coupe (and cabriolet) was released in 2004 with the C209 designation, and sharing mechanical bits with the W203 C-Class. The base model used a 3.2 liter V6, but if you had a need for speed the upgrade to the AMG powered 5.4 liter V8 was available for a lot more money than the entire car is worth today. The AMG badge on the back of this CLK means that you've got a 5.4 liter SOHC V8 that pushes 362 horsepower and 376 ft-lbs of torque into a 5-speed autobox. You and three of your close friends will be propelled to 60mph in 4.7 seconds and through the 1/4 mile at 13.2 seconds....blisteringly fast for $5k!

I'm scared of those cars at 50,000, let alone 200,000. I have a W202 C220 with 168K on it and I'm pretty sure it'll go that much again. 8 years later and I'm scared to touch a W203 based C class. Should I be?
