5k: Silver Streaker: 1977 Silver Streak Supreme Motorhome

All great summer road trips start with wild eyed optimism and end in leaking septic tanks mixed with bankrupting towing bills.  For a portion of the population, paying $49.99 a night for a motel or going more than 20mph uphill sounds like some kind of communist plot.  So, sit back, relax, and join the motorhomeless with this 1977 Silver Streak Supreme Motorhome here on eBay currently bidding for $5,900 reserve-not-met.

 This is not your father's motorhome...on second thought, it is.  This is an airstream style motorhome that dates from the 1970s, and but is fully functional according to the seller. Power comes from a 440 cubic inch Dodge V8 mated to a 727 torqueflite slushbox.

      Not gone, auction closed with reserve not met at $8600.

      I thought it was quite beautiful. I'd like to refurbish the interior in a Danish Modern style.

    It's got a sort of '40s-50s interurban railcar look to it. Needs to be lettered up in some kind of Chicago & North Western or Key System colors.
