JDM Unicorn: 1989 Toyota Soarer Aerocabin

Somewhere in an alternate dimension, the guys who operated the chopsaws at Karosserie Baur somehow made there way into the ranks of Toyota's engineering department.  Here they applied their unique skills to the Z20 generation Soarer to create something called the Aerocabin....and it appears that one made it to our universe.  Find this 1989 Toyota Soarer Aerocabin offered for $19,995 in Alameda, CA via craigslist.  Tip from Kaibeezy.

10k: Maytag White: 1988 Toyota Soarer

The Z20 generation Toyota Soarer was an inline-6 powered predecessor to the Lexus SC300/400 but it was not imported to the US. We've featured an '88 Soarer in the past, but it was a fresh off the boat example that needed some executive amnesty before it would be granted permanent residence (it sold for $7,200), but this one is claimed to be 100% legal and not grey market.  Find this 1988 Toyota Soarer JDM import offered for $11,000 in Hutchinson Island, FL via craigslist.  Tip from Mike F.

10k: JDiMport: 1988 Toyota Soarer Twin Turbo

Before the 21st century fixation on global warming, climate change, debt crises, zombie invasions and the heat death of the universe, people in general had a much more optimistic vision of the future.  Japanese car designers in the '80s, specifically, had the best vision of the future and it included electronic shock damping systems, digital dashboards and stickers that proclaimed to the world you had a twin-turbocharged engine with a millionty-four valves, and 256 camshafts.  The future came to 1988 and it left this Toyota Soarer Twin Turbo currently bidding for $4,300 reserve-not-met with 5 days to go in Long Beach, CA.
