Larry Shinoda (1930-1997) was the Los Angeles born son of Japanese immigrants, who, after spending some of his youth at the
Manzanar War Relocation Camp (...not the best of times), brought into the world iconic designs such as the 1963 Corvette, Z/28 Camaro and Corvair Monza GT. He left GM around 1968 and is best known for his work on the '69 Boss 302 Mustang, a performance and cosmetic package that brought TransAm racing style and performance to the streets.
