Remember that Yoshifab V8 Volvo wagon that sold on ebay for something reasonable and then kept showing back up being sold by flipper(s) looking for a quick profit? Yeah. Beat the flippers to this next beasty and pick it up for a reasonable asking price before it ends up on some auction site that is frequented by high rollers. Find this 1991 Volvo 940 Wagon with LS1 & T56 6-speed offered for $6,500 in Palm Beach, FL via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!From the seller:
For sale is a clean body 1991 Volvo 940 station wagon with a GTO drivetrain ( LS1 / T56) that a previous owner swapped. The car, starts, runs, drives, handles flawlessly and I've done quite a bit of work to make it more stock. It has a functioning cluster out of a 740, all gauges work except the tachometer but I have an autometer gauge that works great if you'd like it. I'll have pictures up soon and thanks for viewing.
New tires and new bilstein shocks all around. The car is very sporty for what it is, a 25 year old Swedish station wagon.
All interior functions restored using a 740 wiring harness. No A/C currently but I have most of the modules that control it.
Wahlbro in tank fuel pump
LS1 fuel pressure regulator
Front swaybar bushings

~ $6500? Hell... yeah!
ReplyDeleteI am at a point in my life where this is where I want to start a project. I am now better at the detail work than the major heavy lifting. I could make this interior and engine compartment look awesome.
ReplyDeleteThis is nitpicky, BUT to my eyes silver with tan interior is the worst combination in the history of the planet. Silver car gets black or grey interior.
ReplyDeleteIf the underhood shot is an indication, it may originally have been beige exterior too.
DeleteYou should have seen the red and blue interiors these cars came with.
DeleteHe should have got the seats out of the GTO also
