I am afraid that its uniqueness might be lost on the vast majority of onlookers, and most people would probably dismiss it as a salvage title hack-job. A few of us at DT didn't know about the convertible Dakota Sport before seeing this one - and it is intriguing. However, like a sailor heading to a gentleman's club with a pocket full of singles, we really want to know what this thing looks like with its top down. The Dakota 'vert was the first topless pickup since Ford's Model A went out of production in 1931 and was the product of the well known top-chopping American Sunroof Corp (ASC).
Of course this seller doesn't include a photo of the Dakota with its top down - so we ran out to the ever present interwebs to find something appropriate.
