Only in Florida: 1980 Buick Skylark Limited

I'm not ashamed of my love of the Buick Skylark. It is such a piece of automotive history -- from the beginning when it shared a platform with the Pontiac Tempest and Olds F-85, and then when it was another piece of the GM A-body arsenal -- it has always been such a badass piece of American iron...except...wait.  What sort of unholy beast have we summoned from the depths of the 10th circle of X-body haides have we found?  Why...just why...did the post fuel crisis corporate bean counters at GM try and convince a single Buick buyer that this was a Skylark?  They may have well put a Corvette badge on a Chevette and lipstick on an anteater. Find this 1980 Buick Skylark Limited offered for $1000 in Port Charlotte, FL via craiglsist. Tip from Dascpcu.

Supernova Remnant: 1981 Chevrolet Citation

Supernova remnants are the pieces left over from the destruction of a star...in this case that star happens to be Chevrolet's well loved Nova.  After producing umpteen versions of the Nova over 17 years, Chevrolet finally wired up a detonating plunger and the resulting implosion gave us this mess of debris.  Find this 1981 Chevrolet Citation for sale in San Diego, CA for $1,900 via craigslist.

New Old Shlock: 1982 Oldsmobile Omega X-Body, 160 Actual Miles

The Oldsmobile Omega was part of GM's X-body platform, the compact invasion that included the Chevrolet Citation, the Buick Skylark, and the Pontiac Phoenix...the latter of which at least had a cool name going for it.  The X-car in general was terrible, but the Oldsmobile was stuck in this no-man's-zone, slotted below in sportiness to Pontiac, and below in comfort to the Buick, but was somehow need to be better than the Chevrolet without actually costing GM a penny more in production costs.  What could possibly go wrong?  Find this 1982 Oldsmobile Omega with 160 miles on the odometer here on eBay bidding for $4,050 with a few hours to go, located in Livingston, NJ.
