Mini-Meow: 1970 Arctic Cat Mini Bike

A few years ago when my son was around twelve, he seemed to spend every hour of the day in front of the xbox shooting or blowing stuff up or in front of YooToob watching people shooting or blowing stuff up on an xbox.  That changed when I bought a somewhat crappy XR80 off Craigslist and he discovered the joy of interacting with a mechanical transportation device in the physical world. Reading stuff like this, I wonder if it isn't the duty of every DT reader to buy a mini bike and introduce a kid to it.  Find this 1970 Arctic Cat Mini Bike for sale in Anchorage, AK for $2,000 via craigslist.

0.5k: New Old Stock: Martin Turbo Systems Draw Thru Turbo Kit

A while back some folks suggested that we feature the odd part find, maybe a cool engine or transmission that could be shoved into some undeserving Volvo or a set of Whitworth wrenches for your pre-1955 BMC classic.  Our first 'part feature' is a piece of New Old Stock (NOS, not to be confused with a brand of Nitrous Oxide, the stuff that amateurs use to "blow the welds on the intake manifold"), a Martin Turbo Systems Draw Thru Turbo Kit (without the Turbo!) that is currently bidding on ebay for $405 with 2 days to go.  Thanks to tip from Andy L.

10k: 1969 Ford Bronco with Juice

The Bronco was a small SUV build by Ford to complete with Jeep's CJ and the International Harvester Scout.  In stock trim the Bronco was a competent off-roader but most have been modified to go faster and climb steeper hills.  This 1969 Ford Bronco was built in the year that OJ "The Juice" Simpson was drafted to the NFL and is currently for sale on ebay for a buy-it-now price of $9,500 in Greenwood, DE.
