You Spin Me Right Round: 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE

The first generation RX-7 (SA/FB built in Japan from 1978 to 1985) was a interesting highlight in the sports car world of the early 80s.  The RX-7's light weight frame was propelled by a unique engine - the Mazda rotary.   Find this 1985 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE offered for $3,500 in Sahuarita, AZ via craigslist.  Tip from FuelTruck.

Another Leaper: 1984 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE

Welcome to Leap Day on DT, where we look at cars ready to take the Leap from depreciated crap to appreciating classic: The first generation Mazda RX-7 (SA/FB) was sold from 1978 through 1985 that offered a combination of spinning rotary power, cat-like reflexes, and pop-up headlights that few other cars can match, but they are surprisingly cheap to buy -- don't expect that to last forever.  Find this 1984 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE here on eBay bidding for $2,550 located in Rio Rancho, NM with 3 days to go.

2k: Rotary Project: 1984 Mazda RX7 GSL-SE

This next tip comes from DT regular commenter Tanj! who writes: From the stunning two pictures available this looks like a pretty amazing deal for a 5 letter....If I actually had a use for it I'd probably already have gone to look at it and bought it but I already have a SA wide body project and a FC daily.  Thought this might generate some interest in a larger setting.
Find this 1984 Mazda RX7 GSL-SE offered for $2,000 in Point, TX (Population 958 according to the 2008 Census...).

5k: Low Mile Time Capsule: 1984 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE

The first generation Mazda RX-7 was built from 1978-1985 in three versions with minor changes.  The series III (1984-85) cars are the most desirable due to updated looks and engines, but any one is a surprisingly good drivers car.  The RX-7 was designed to compete directly with the Porsche 924 and shares a surprising number of similarities, but has aged more gracefully.  Find this 1984 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE for sale in Marysville, WA currently bidding on ebay for $4,075 with no reserve and 2 days to go.
